Presented is a lovely hand painted Imari planter or pot. It measures about 6 1/2" tall and about 7 3/4" across the mouth of the pot. It has two lovely floral designs, both of which are repeated around the bowl of the pot three times. It is embellished with gold designs and lines. It is marked on the bottom, Gold Imari, an Imari mark and the word, handpainted. It is most likely an item from the last mid-century period. It is really in very nice condition.
