Here is another Muffy Vanderbear item from the past. It is Hoppy dressed in a very orange outfit with carrot buttons and decorated with checker squares and crowns. She is wearing a scarf that does have a chess or checker "board" in the center. It has a carrot edge. There are also images of Muffy and Hoppy playing at a table.
