Bright colors of yellow, blue, deep mauve and green are utilized in this lovely Majolica vase that dates to the 1930's. On one side are two putti or cherubs holding a vase or container, with grapes and leaves above their heads, no doubt hoping to fill their vase. The other side has another cherub plucking a cluster of grapes. The background on each side is a deep navy blue, and the cherubs are highlighted in brown.
