Here's a nice silver souvenir spoon from the Netherlands with a traditional porcelain Dutch shoe with a blue Delft design on the finial and a fancy braided design on the stem. The bowl has a repousse' design with a Dutch windmill. Spoon is marked Made in Holland along with a "B". Not marked as to metal content. I believe the spoon may be made of a lesser grade of silver than sterling but have not tested it. Measures 4 1/2 inches long. Very good vintage condition.

Sterling silver souvenir spoon from the city of Nikko Japan has a finial with the depiction of a Japanese lantern, the name of the city in an open setting with a zig-zag design around the name, and a bowl in the shape of a flower, most likely the cherry blossom. Spoon has some tarnish or patina and is marked Sterling 950, so is a higher grade of silver than sterling. Very nicely engraved bowl says "Prentice Wis." on a 5" long sterling spoon from P & B, or Paye and Baker, who were in business into the 1930's. It has a very Art Nouveau look to it, and is no doubt from the early 20th century. The floral design looks like a chrysanthemum flower. Marked Sterling on the back along with the maker's mark. Older sterling silver demi-tasse (4 1/2") long spoon is nicely engraved with orange blossoms and oranges on the finial and stem, with the bowl inscribed "Los Angeles". The bowl appears to be vermeil or gold wash over the sterling. This spoon is in excellent condition and is marked Sterling along with a maker's mark which looks like an "S" with another symbol over it--I am not familiar with this mark and would welcome any information. Nicely detailed sterling silver souvenir spoon has a finial depicting the seal of the state of Missouri at the top and a depiction of the seal of the state of Kansas below, along with a cornucopia spilling out coins at the base of the stem. The bowl says 19 K.C. 11 (or 1911 K.C.). The spoon is marked R W & S Sterling with a stag's head for the Wallace sterling company.
