This beautiful brightly colored little brooch depicts a stylized hummingbird with blue and green enameled wings, red rhinestone eye, and clear rhinestones accenting the front wing. His head is a brilliant shade of sapphire blue. Measures 2 " x 1 1/4" and is gold plated metal. Although unsigned, he is very well made. The numbers 198 or 1198 appear on the back, although they are indistinct, and perhaps refer to a manufacturer's design number, possibly by Boucher or Sphinx.
