Gorgeous deep purple amethyst stone in a pear shaped cut is set in a raised open setting with open V shaped cut outs on the shoulders. Face of ring is 1/2 inch north to south (12 mm)and amethyst is approximately 12mm x 8 mm. Ring measures just over a size 8 but could be re-sized by a jeweler.
