Pair of delightful retro dinner plates from Vernon Kilns, California. This is the 'RFD' pattern, depicting a rooster weathervane and a lovely green crosshatch pattern, very reminiscent of the 1950's. Actually, this pattern was made between 1951 and 1954. The Vernon Kilns company manufactured dinnerware and art pottery in the 1930's, 1940's, and 1950's just outside of Los Angeles, CA.
