This gorgeous vintage postcard features a glowing candle, and clock striking midnight. "Happy New Year" is the sentiment across the bottom. Design Copyright 1909 by M.W. Taggart. Postmarked December 31, 1910. There a small crease in the lower left hand corner.

"A Valentine Remembrance I sent You" is the messageon the front of the card. It is filled with Victorian era symbolism: A white dove (domesticity), Pansies (thoughtfulness) in the shape of a horseshoe (luck) and four leaf clover (luck) ... the white dove has two pink ribbons hanging from its beak, with a gold ring tied to each ribbon. While dated 1912, this postcard oozes Victorian era symbolism. There are no tears or damage. There is a wee bit of rounding to the corners, as is to be expected.
