Standing approximately 3 & 1/4 inches high this is a Japanese Imari sake or tea cup. It has a grey background or under glaze and gold and red trimmed birds and flowers in blue and red framed cartouches. In between the cartouches are shades of oriental red and gold floral designs. It is approximately 1 & 3/4 inches in diameter at the top where it has a gold trim. It is signed on its base.

This is a set of 2 porcelain tea or sake cups. One is a dark or navy blue with gold flowers and trim. The other is a muted pink or mauve with gold flowers and trim. Each is painted white on the inside. They are quite an elegant little set. Each stands approximately 2 & 1/2 inches high and is approximately 1 & 1/2 inches in diameter at the top (the widest part).
