This is a hand-carved jade elephant with its trunk up which signifies good luck. It is either glued or attached to a wooden base. It measures approximately 4" long (from the tip of the trunk to the tail) by 3 &1/2" tall including the height of the base to the tip of the trunk.

This is a hand carved jade elephant attached to a wooden base. The size of the elephant is approximately 3 & 1/2" tall (including the wooden base) by 4" long from the tip of the trunk to the left pointing tail. The jade of this elephant does not have the cloudy patches or variation in the stone that the right pointing elephant has.

This is an incredible set of sake cups. They were all painted by the same person. The markings on the foot of each cup are all the same. They are WWII vintage or earlier. Each cup is approximately 2" in diameter and about 1 & 1/4" high. The detail and message of each painting is remarkable. The old men contemplating life and time suggested by the contrast of their age and the young tree.
