This is a quadruple silver plate hair receiver and matching powder jar or box. They are the same size and measure approximately 4 & 1/2" in diameter and about 3" high. The makers mark is the Apollo Silver Co and each item has the number 1439 stamped on the underside. The interior of each has a golden glow so I don't know if it is silver plate on brass or on copper. This is a pair of beautiful antique Victorian quadruple silver plate and glass candlesticks. They were made by the Eureka Silver Company, as indicated by the hallmark on the base of each. The Eureka Silver Company was a small silversmith that existed during the 1890's and became part of the International Silver Co. in 1898. These gorgeous candlesticks stand approximately 8" tall.
