This is a vintage Chinese stamp box. It measures approximately 4 & 1/8" long by 1 & 1/2" deep by 1 & 1/4" high. It has China stamped into the metal on the bottom of it. It has raised images on the front, top, and each end that are brass painted with enamel. Some of the enamel paint on the raised images has worn off. I'm not quite sure what this is called, but I believe it was used to hold ashes or perhaps coal. It has lovely floral moriage on the handle. The bottom of one corner has become detached. The rectangular pan is approximately 6 & 3/4" by 4 & 3/4" and about 1 & 1/4" deep. The handle is about 3 & 3/4" long. China is impressed on the underside.

They must have called for Dr. Seuss to be around, because I'm more poetic than I usually sound. The largest is two and one-quarter inches tall. The smallest is one inch less, and that is all.

This is an unusual set of 10 brass coasters. Each coaster has a center raised impression of a different animal. This is a brass creamer or pourer. It has any number of uses as small pitchers do. It measures approx. 3 & 3/4" tall and is about 3 & 1/2 " in diameter at the base. The width of the pitcher at the top and including the handle is about 6 & 1/2". It has no markings as to where it was made. There is a star molded within the handle that suggests the middle east, Turkey perhaps.

This is an elaborately decorated Asian brass hinged box. I say Asian because the word China is not explicitly written on it anywhere even though it looks very Chinese. It has cloisonne bats in each corner for good fortune and a jade floral carving in the center. The size of the box is approximately 4" x 3" and a little more than an inch high. It is missing one cloisonne medallion on the left side. I suspect it was a box to hold cigarettes. The cloisonne and jade are beautiful.
