This is a sterling silver stemmed cup. I suppose it is meant to hold brandy because of its shape. It has a letter on the front which I believe is a "T". It could be an "F" but I don't think so. The base has the word Sterling which I have tried to capture, as well as the number 990, which is the percentage of silver I believe. It is a lovely little chalice. It is approximately 3" tall and about 2 & 1/2" in diameter. There are no makers' marks that I could find.

This is a pair of Frank M. Whiting sterling silver and crystal compotes that are really unique! I've never seen this before, but the crystal bowls may be unscrewed and removed, and the bases then make lovely sterling candle holders! The bases are about 3 & 3/8" in diameter and about 3 & 1/2" tall. With the crystal bowls attached the height is approximately 5 & 1/2". The diameter of the crystal bowls is approximately 6". This napkin ring has English hallmarks. It has what I believe are a leopard's head and the passant lion. It also has the letters or initials R.P. There is a third hallmark that is very unclear as to what it is. It could be the Brittania symbol, but it is so small and so worn, I don't know what it is or was. It has lovely decorative scrolls and a place for a name to be engraved on it which is empty.

This is an absolutely beautiful sterling and crystal wine coaster by Frank M Whiting. The sterling has a lovely beaded edge on it. The overall diameter measures approximately 4 & 1/2". The interior diameter is about 3 & 1/2". The fact that it is Frank M Whiting sterling dates this piece to sometime before 1940. It is in excellent condition.

This is a sterling silver compote. It is 3&1/2" tall and 6 & 1/2" in diameter. The foot has a crimp in it. It can be seen when turned upside down. It looks like a small indention when right side up. I would have missed it if I hadn't turned it upside down and saw underneath. It says "Sterling" and "Weighted" on the bottom. It has a wavy trim around the bowl of it.
