This vintage Trifari fur clip has patent number 12298 dating it from August 20, 1940 and making the designer the renowned Alfred Philippe. Philippe, as you probably know, revolutionized costume jewelry and as head designer for Trifari, brought them to the top of the jewelry "chain".
