Vintage large celluloid bank of an Indian Boy. Dating from the late 1940's to very early 1950's. Bank is 10 3/4" high and never held money as it still has cut out plug on back that says, Cut to Open. Impressed on back with small logo, A.F.R. Made in U.S.A. Some loss of black on back of head and one small gouge in side of knee the size of pencil lead. Ceramic bank of the Walking Liberty Half Dollar coin. Dark brown with gold and white highlights and raised designs. Front is of course Lady Liberty walking with sun rising in background. Liberty and the sun are decorated in gold all words are in white. Beneath Liberty is the year 1961. Back is eagle on branch decorated in gold. Really a great vintage bank. Adorable ceramic bank made in Japan. Graduate is boy dressed in cap and gown and holding his diploma which says College Fund. He has large blue eyes, his cap and gown are white with blue tinges and there is a large blue bow with his diploma. Bank has paper label Made in Japan. Still has original red plastic stopper, though it is shoved partially inside. Bank is 7" and has no chips or cracks. AC Williams cast iron bank circa 1925 of elephant sitting on bench on top of tub. Bank has nice rustic patina and measures approximately 4" high. The bank is held together by the original screw.
