A very elegant softly gathered black silk handbag or purse from the 1950's by Miami designer Julius Resnick. This lovely vintage two handled handbag has a beautiful soft cream silk lining with 'JR USA ' stamped on the lining. There is a brushed goldtone metal snap closure which shows some very minor surface wear. The bag measures 12" wide by 6-1/2" tall with a handle drop of 4-3/4". Beautiful Noritake hand painted oval serving dish in a floral pattern with cut out double handles and gilded trimming. The dish measures 9-1/2" long by 4-1/4" wide and sits 1-3/4" high. It is marked on the back with the 'M' red wreath mark with 'Noritake' above and 'Hand Painted Made In Japan' below. This dates the dish to circa 1930 as this mark was used between 1920 to 1940.
