Great standby when the power goes off. And it has a rather pronounced candle holder center with an all-around deep 1 ½ inch well to catch wax drippings; unless you use dripless candles. The holder in total, measures a sturdy 5 ¼ inch diameter; base is 4 inches in diameter. Center holder is a tapered 2 inches high. Loop handle is hefty; large enough for a man's hand.
