Those items that I am not absolutely sure of I will say what I think it is and fully apprise customer that I am unsure. I would appreciate it if the buyer would contact me via email.

Ruby Plaza has notified all Shop Owners that the Ruby Plaza site will be closed and removed as of December 31, 2012. I would like to add that my shop will be closing in the foreseeable future. If you are seriously interested in any items in my shop, please proceed and purchase it sooner than later, as it may be too late.

I am a grandmother who finds herself widowed and I have been surrounded by antiques all my life. My in-laws were from England and brought a lot of antiques over in the early 1920's when they immigrated to Canada. They and I were always going to Antique Auctions, and other venues to find antiques. The collecting of antiques seemed to grow on me and as I am a very inquisitive person and honest, I therefore have spend many many hours surfing the internet and libraries searching for information to verify the articles that I put for sale. As I said to an antique dealer "I want to know for sure what I am advertising so that my customer is receiving exactly what I have advertised and also, for me, I want to make sure that I received a fair price. It is a two way street and both parties are then happy.

Along with the article that the customer purchases I will provide all the details that I have been able to acquire regarding its' authenticity.

This is my first store with Ruby Plaza and I feel the Ruby Plaza venue will reach a very wide market place.

All shipping, insurance and related costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. If requested I can get quotes for shipping, insurance at this end but the customer is responsible for the costs of such items. We can work that out at the time.
