Lions and panthers were all the rage for coffee table tops in the 50's. Both my Grandmother and Great Aunt Had one. I thought they were cool and exotic then and still do now. This sleek 18'' long and 9'' tall lion is touched with gold on his mane. He's on the prowl, his green rhinestone eyes ever watchful. There's a chain linked to his neck that was attached to something, what it was i have no idea. There's a small pit in his back and a crack in his front paw.
