I'm not sure if this is a wine or brandy decanter or if there's a specific liquor that should be served from this type of container. As someone who serves straight from the bottle i'm lacking in the proper etiquette of liquor serving and storage. This 10'' diameter piece has a 6 1/2'' base with a fan-like design. If you wanted, you could fill this with liquid. A rubber stopper makes it air tight with an excellent spill-proof seal. The 9 1/2'' bottle is pressed glass with an all over bubble pattern. The stopper stands 6 3/4'' above the base and is covered in tiny bubbles. This stately piece is marked Italy and is in excellent condition.
