There's a lot of detail on this 2 3/8" x 2" oval locket that's stamped Mexico. The large black cabochon is edged with rope and outlined with a halo of flowers. Sixteen small circles surround the edge of this pendant that opens for a 1/4" deep place to stash a treasure. There is an interesting patina of oxidation to this locket that gives it a look of age.
