As with many Trifari pieces, this brooch seems to demonstrate motion. The designer may not have had wheat in mind in this creation--but the design appears to me like a tied bundle of wheat--the sheaves curling outward at the top. Part of the finish on the pin is shiny and where the "wheat" curls under, the finish is brushed and textured instead adding depth and an extra dimension. The brooch is signed and measures 2 3/8" x 1 1/2". The piece is substantial and in Excellent Condition.
