Delightful black Americana woman's head pen wipe or needle case of wool felt. She is wearing a dotted orange turban and gold metal hoop earrings. The case is in three parts sewn together: face, white wool insert, back of head. I originally thought this was a needle case but have recently learned it probably is a pen wipe. On the inside can be seen gold color thread which sews on her turban. The white liner has a small hole which is visible in the picture. The overall diameter is 2 1/2".
