Only very special cookies may go into this basket! The rose encrusted cookie jar was made in Sarreguemines when it was either a French or a German territory. The marks indicate 1889-1922. Each of the three roses, pink and red, is fully modeled. The handle to the lid is a raised green stem. The bottom half of the jar is modeled as woven splints.
