This is a cup or mug by Wedgwood in their popular Peter Rabbit pattern. Wedgwood has been making Peter Rabbit since 1947 and it is still in production. The mug has two Peter scenes, one of him knocking over flower pots, the other of him caught against a net. It says "Peter would have got away if he had not run into a gooseberry net."
