This carved bakelite bangle dates to the Art Deco Era. An authentic vintage bakelite bangle in a carmely butterscotch color that will stack beautifully with your other bangles. With an inner opening of 2-5/8'' this bracelet will fit a variety of wrists. The wall of the bangle measures just about 1/2''. Age appropriate wear.

This vintage black bracelet smells like bakelite but it does not test for bakelite. It is some form of carved plastic and could very well be bakelite. I have been told by a few collectors that black bakelite does not always test. This bracelet is a nice size at 1'' wide. It will stretch to accommodate a medium to large wrist. The elastic appears to be older and may need to be changed. The carved panels are in good condition with age appropriate wear.
