This sophisticated gentlemans tie bar is hallmarked Krementz USA. I am not exactly sure when this mark was used. From the looks of it I would guess at pre 1940. A striking gentleman's accessory that is crafted in yellow gold fill. The tie bar measures 2-3/8'' across and is fitted at each end with a 2'' paperclip chain. This is a wonderful Art Nouveau inspired locket. I can't be sure of it's exact age but I will guess at 1900 - 1930. The floral adornment is enameled in deep warm shades of green and burgundy. sparkling marcasites add just a touch of earthy charm. The black back ground appears to be celluloid.
