I have read that these beautiful spun silver butterflies were made by hand in Europe. Dating as far back as the Victorian era they are wonderful collectible treasures. I have a collection of them myself and they are all slightly unique. The pattern of the silver is ornate and charming giving texture to the open filigree wings. It measures 1-7/8'' x 1''.
