What a lovely example of an old C Clasp glass brooch. The pin is set in dark gold tone metal and has a dog tooth open back setting with a large oval glass faceted stone in a rich amber brown color. The size is 1 x 1 3/4". Secure old style C Clasp closing. Gently used very fine condition.

This lovely antique brooch has the extended pin which is typical of Victorian jewelry. The pin is set in goldtone metal with a rope edge around a rectangular setting which has inlaid mother of pearl which has a bas relief grape and leaf finding with prong set turquoise glass beads. The brooch has a C clasp and is 1 1/2 x 1" with the pin extending to 2". Gently used very fine condition with a bit of metal wear. Fabulous condition for the age.
