This purse came from Austria in 1959 with a petit point compact inside. The compact is listed separately. The purse is covered with a soft black sued like material. There is a 9inch X 1/4 inch strip of petit point trim across the front flap. A side pocket is inside the purse just room for a mirror. There is a tight snap closure. This purse Whiting & Davis purse is at least 50 yrs.old and in good vintage condition. The marks on the goldtone frame are 2908 and Whiting & Davis,made in the USA copyright. There is also a tag inside the purse with Whiting & Davis. The purse is a mesh metal with white beads or bubbles.The weight is 4 1/2 oz.'s measures 5 1/2 across and 4 "'s high. This is a cute little leather coin purse. The Jordache logo is on the front. The tag inside the purse reads Jordache copyright and Roger Gimbel Accessories made in Macau. Gimble is an importer and exporter of accessories. The inside lining is in excellent condition. There is a small dot on the goldtone metal logo on the front of the purse. The purse weighs 1 1/2 oz.'s and is 4"'s wide and 4"'s from the clasp to the bottom of the purse. The coin purse is in very good condition with little use.

This is a sweet little coin purse from the 1930's-1940's. It appears to be older than 60 years in style. Inside on the top flap it reads. Made in Italy for the Marshall Fields Company. The purse has really been used and some of the satin brocade and rose colored velvet cloth has worn. I did not try to wash this item. The top frame and latch are a goldtone metal. It weighs 1 oz. and measures 3 1/2" X 3 1/2"'s. The design and style makes me think this was a high end coin purse in it's day.
