A beautiful old mirror and brush to admire or use. The set is from the 1940,s-50 era and was in use for more than 60 years. The mirror was used a great deal and the oils from perfumes and lotions has worn off the gold metal coating. The plastic covering on the back of the mirror has eased out of the frame in one spot. This perfume atomizer is from the late 1940's-50's and made from lucite. I have seen the clear lucite atomizers with colored flowers but I have never seen an atomizer such as this one. The lucite atomizer is 4 inches X 4 inches and 1 inch thick. The front side has metallic gold flecks confetti in two squares and a pearl like confetti in the other two squares. This cute rootbeer colored turtle was released by Avon in 1971. The original label is on the bottom and indicates the scent is Persian Woods. The bottle is almost full however the scent may have changed over the years. The turtle is 3 7/8 inches long,made with a rootbeer colored glass and has a goldtone head for the opening. the glass is embossed to form the turtle design. There is a small black mark on the goldtone metal. In good condition for the age.
