Another sentimental card sent to Doris from her beau Wallace in 1942 who was stationed in Washington,D.C.. The card was safely stored in a scrape book kept by Doris in her spinster years. Some yellowing is noted on the backside of this card. Otherwise in good vintage condition. Several items of memorabilia were found in her spinster scrape book relating to her relationship with Wallace for over 3 years. I could not find out what happened to Wallace. This card was safely stored in a scrape book kept by Doris in her spinster years. Wallace was a beau who was stationed in Washington,D.C. and was her beau for over 3 years. A personal note is written inside of the card. There is some yellowing of the cards paper. There is also some scrape book paper still attached on the back. No other issues noted at this time. Doris saved this Valentine card sent to her from Wallace who was stationed in Washington, D.C in 1943. Wallace was her beau at that time and Doris lived in Erie, Pa. The card is a little yellowed from age and being stored in a scrape book. There is a mark that appears to be a thumbprint on the lower right front corner. On the back is marked Hallmark and a copyright 1943 Hall Brothers Inc. Doris did date Wallace for a few years during WWII but married John in 1948 after the war.| Items 1 - 3 of 3 | Page 1 of 1 |
