$7 USD1945 Western Union Telegram From Mom to Doris

I'm listing several old items from a scrape book kept by Doris in her spinster years. The era was in the 1940's during WWII. Doris also kept a scrape book from before her marriage and after in 1948. Doris was in NYC visiting her friend Joan in 1945. Wallace was still her beau since 1940 and was coming from Washington D.C to meet with Doris. Doris needed a dress for a night out on the town.
