This beautiful plate with gold guilded trim and roses was in a family members estate. The plate has a mark in gold guild of 27 on the back. I do not know if this is a Schleiger mark of Haviland China or the painters mark. When researching replacements the number 27 description fit the design on the plate. This beautiful gallery tray is from the 1950's or earlier and has the trade mark 1883,F.B. Rogers and the crown symbol. In 1952 the National Silver Co. took over the F.B. Rogers co.. This beautiful pressed glass bowl would add elegance to any dinner party This bowl is very heavy with thick glass. The inside of the bowl is smooth and all of the design is on the outer side of the bowl. The edges of the design are smooth which indicates this is pressed glass. A family member who was in the U.S. Navy during WW l acquired these very old brass trivets from China. I do not know what the characters on the trivet mean but they make a nice design. The trivets are brass and measure 5 1/2 inches X 5 1/2 inches. The small footings on the bottom are also brass. The combined weight of the two trivets is 1 pound..The trivets have engraving that is 1 inch wide around each side. The mark on the back simply reads China. Time to party with the popular olive green colors of the 1960's. In the past there was a hook that attached the dip bowl to the chip bowl. I fear the hook is long-gone. The large chip bowl is 8 inches in diameter and stands 3 inches tall. The dip bowl is 4 1/2 inches in diameter across the top and 1 1/2 inches deep. There is a scalloped rim around each bowl that curves upward to prevent spillage. There are no chips or cracks noted at this time. Very good condition at this time.
