This jar has had continuous use for the past 80 years and is now ready to retire from grandmas and my use. The jar stands 8 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches square. The mouth opening is 5 inches in diameter. As you can see in the picture the label is still on the jar but a bit frayed on the edges. The jar still has a lot of the original green paint on the lid.. The jar is in good condition with only a few chips on the mouth opening. No cracks noted. Boy...they really knew how to make durable uranium ...

Back in the 1970's I had some gelatin molds with the hangers such as these molds. I painted them with red acrylic paint to hang on the kitchen wall. I still have these molds today. I found these Copper Colored aluminum molds at a estate sale and they are almost new appearing. The butterfly mold holds 6 cups, melon mold 2 1/2 Cups and the grape cluster 4 cups. Each mold has a hanger and the capacity marked next to the hanger. In new used condition.

These rings were used in a frying pan to make perfectly round eggs or pancakes. The folding handles are to make removing the eggs easy. The diameter of each ring is 3 1/2 inches and 5/8 inch wide. The rings could almost hold two eggs. No makers mark has been found. they appear to be stainless steel. These rings are from the mid 20th century but are still workable and in collectible condition. Egg rings are still being produced today.

This set of knives was produced by the long established Robinson Company of New York State. The knives are marked Robinson and Stainless Steel. There are three serrated edge knives and the small knife is smooth. All of the knives are very sharp!!!They look like they have been used very little. I believe this hand wrought chopper is from the 1800's. There are no marks on this primitive utensil. The wooden handle is 4 1/2 inches across and the height is 6 1/2 inches. The metal stem appears to be cast iron. The blade edge is fairly sharp. There is a small spot of paint on the handle edge and the blade needs to be cleaned up a bit. The chopper as is and has had no restoration. They certainly don't make utensils like this today to last a lifetime and more. A great piece to display.
