The lamp without a shade or bulb stands 13 inches high. The glass cylinder stem and the sides of the heavy base have etching designs. Jim Beam collectibles have become very popular. Many of Jim Beams items were made as items for collecting and not for liquor distribution. This functional oil lamp is one such item. For your consideration are these two Boudoir lamps from the 1930's. My husbands mother used these from her teen years until the 1990's. They still work but some restoration may be needed on the wires and new shades. One of the ladies came off the base and before replacement I took a picture of the mark on the bottom of the figurine. The mark reads ETON CHINA and the number 8. In searching I found very little information regarding Eton China in the United Kingdom.
