Silver Ray is the Navajo silversmith who created this beautiful cuff. The cuff is marked and hallmarked Sterling. S. Ray also has a jewelry shop in Albuquerque, NM. I purchased this in a shop going out of business in 1992 and the sales person indicated that this was from Albuquerque. This cuff is definitely made for a person with a large wrist. The cuff has eight turquoise nuggets that are all 10-15 mm.. The cuff is not marked and I have not tested the silver tone metal. The cuff is 6 1/2 inches with a 2 inch gap. The metal is thick enough that it would be difficult to adjust the size. The width is 2 inches wide and the total weight is approx.3 1/2 ounces. There is a lot of intricate silver work appliqued to this squash blossom designed cuff. The cuff is hallmarked sterling with the makers mark J. DABB.
