I have spent entirely to much time searching for the makers mark that is on back of this brooch. I also think that there is a mark on the lower edge of the Geisha's fan. The mark appears to have caricatures with sun-rays surrounding the mark. The brooch is certainly vintage. The main base of the brooch is a silvertone metal that has not been tested.
