***PHOTOS are lightened to show DETAIL! This is an absolutely gorgeous "museum quality" black velvet cape. It dates back to late 1890's to early 1900's. I've lightened the photos so you can see the detail of the ribbon and glass beadwork on the cape. The cape is so black that it could be referred to as "pitch" black. There are virtually no missing beads and the braided ribbon-like trim is in very, very good condition.
