This is a great aluminum porringer or double boiler in really excellent condition. It has some pitting in the bottom of the top pot. The bottom pot has some water stains. Both pots have scuffs on them. This type of porringer was produced from 1930 to 1950. The bottom pot measures almost 5 1/4 inches tall and 5 1/8 inches at the rim, the top pot measures 5 1/8" tall and 5 1/8" at the rim. Together they measure 7 inches tall plus the lid.
