We have been told this is a tobacco felt that came as a premium from Turkish Cigarettes in WWII. Tobacco felts were included in tins of loose tobacco as a premium, and for cleaning the user's pipe. This one is a beautiful miniature rug that measures 4 1/4" x 2 1/8" and is in a Brown, Yellowish green, and Violet color with Brown fringes on both ends.
