This vintage modern vase is in perfect condition & is approximately 50 years old. It is from Gonder Ceramic Arts which were in business from 1941 thru 1957. The Gonder family had ties and relationships with the other famous pottery companies in Ohio and in fact, have a wonderfully interesting history. They are y noted for their ceramic glazes. This lovely & unique salt ware vase is in perfect condition without any flaws. It stands 8" and has a 2 1/2" diameter. The color fades from dark taupe or brown at the top to a beautiful pale tan at the bottom. It has carved leaf-like designs incised into the clay. You don't see this style or color very often.
