The shape of this reminds me of a stop sign. It has eight sides to it. The locket has nice etching designs on both sides. My camera makes some of it look black but it isn't. There are no covers inside, and I can't tell if there are frames inside, as what is in there looks like they are as inside has little holes in it to pop them out.
