A pretty vintage bone china cup and saucer made by Royal Doulton, both pieces with green fluted rims and decorated with a charming profusion of summer flowers including, my favourite, a lilac blue sweet pea bloom. This is not by any means among the 'important' class of ceramics, at least not yet at this age , but is a delightful addition to a collection of early 20thC ceramics which will become more appreciated as the years go by.
