The Rhodolite Garnet that is 1.70CT and 7mm Rd is from the Umba River in Tanzania Valley. It is a light pinkish-purple stone that has traces of Spessartite, Pyrope and Almandine Garnet. Hardness 6.5-7.5. This ring semi-mount is a band 1/2" in Sterling Silver .925 with .42ctw White Topaz Black Rhodium plated Silver behind stones. One of my favorite rings to wear all the time.
