The Tortoise Shell on this is in excellent condition. This is one of the finer looking Tortoiseshell purses we have owned. It is very clean. The front has a sweet Silver Pique bow with streaming ties.The outer mount is gilded silver metal. Some of the gilt has been rubbed off but it retains the majority of it. The purse measures 3" wide by 2", ca. 1850. The hinge and clasp work perfectly, the inside area is very clean, and the Tortoise shell is perfect with very light surface wear.

Shaped like it's larger Calling Card case brothers this is a delightful piece to hold larger sized needles. Lovely colors ranging from Blond to Mahogany. The top has a silver cartouche area that is blank. The case measures just shy of 3 1/2" by 2". It has a repaired area on the bottom and 2 tiny areas of loss. The hinge is a bit loose but works well. No other problems to note. What a great sewing item to add to a collection.

Unique Hat pin that looks to be Czech. The Black glass stone has 10 panel cuts. It has an ornate brass surround which a piece of cut Coral has been applied to it. The hat pin is 10 1/2" in length, the top is 2 3/4" by 3/4". It is in very good vintage condition. There is a piece of solder showing on the front stem and some glue residue on the inside back of the brass surround. It must have been secured at one point it time. The stones are in excellent condition.

There is a tag that has the size of 20 1/2". I have placed this bonnet on my head and while it fits in the crown area the upper area seems way too small to be a woman's hat so I believe this was worn by a child. The straw is strong without any weak areas. It has a grosgrain ribbon and bow in pink. There is an elastic strap on the inside of the bonnet.
