The Tortoise Shell on this is in excellent condition. This is one of the finer looking Tortoiseshell purses we have owned. It is very clean. The front has a sweet Silver Pique bow with streaming ties.The outer mount is gilded silver metal. Some of the gilt has been rubbed off but it retains the majority of it. The purse measures 3" wide by 2", ca. 1850.
