This is a great old whisky decanter with great personality! The clown is leaning on an old drum, and the head can swivel to face different directions. It is marked "Japan" most likely from 1950s-60s. It is 8.25" tall and 6.5" long and in good condition, with no cracks or chips. The hand painting is slightly irregular at the transition edges, which is normal with this type of pottery. The cork is in good condition, fits tight but not to tight.

Two of these plates have a gold thread woven through the openings- the third does not. They are in great condition- no cracks, chips, or crazing. Pictures are of Victorian era. Appear to be hand painted - there are only a few places that there is relief but the light reflection from the pictures certainly appears that it was hand painted. They measure 5 5/8" in diameter.
