This is an old tool box that originally held a No. 133 H "Yankee" Handyman Quick Return Spiral Ratchet Screw Driver with One Removable Bit. This information and the directions for using the screw driver are on the paper label on top of the cardboard box along with a picture of the tool. The Yankee Handyman was from the North Bros. Mfg. This old tool was made by the Stanley company. It's a No. 136 boxwood inside/outside 4 inch caliper rule with brass jaws and slide. These generally date around 1935. It is in good condition with light wear and no abuse. The brass has some speckled discoloration. It has not been cleaned or polished. This is a fine old tool box from the Crescent Tool Company of Jamestown New York. It originally held a Crestoloy Forged Steel, Thin Head, Adjustable Wrench. The model AC18 was an 8" Chromium Plated wrench supposedly; Thinner, Stronger and Tougher Than Ever Before, according to the paper label on the cardboard box. I'm guessing that this old tool was used by a lineman of the Idaho Power Company. As to it's exact use, I don't know but it appears to be a crimping tool of some sort.
