This old box was for a Baby's Spoon by Community Plate. The lid is paper covered with white geese on all sides and a sweet girl on the top which would appear to be a "young" Mother goose in the center above the identification. It is empty with only the blue cloth insert looking for a baby spoon to fill it. On the bottom it is marked; Blue. This old child's knife and fork set were advertising promotionals for the Planters Peanut Company. The handle detail is quite fine both front and back with the mascot "Mr. Peanut" standing atop a bunch of peanuts. Each piece is marked Carlton Silver Plate. The detail is much sharper on the knife which shows less wear than the fork although both pieces show some wear.
